Travel along SHWY 2 (the main road between Te Puke and Whakatane which is also known as the “Matata Straights”). Turn up Pikowai Road which is half way along the Matata Straights. Travel approx. 8km up Pikowai Road until you see Airstrip Road on your right and then follow the road to the end onto an airstrip where the headquarters and carparking will be. The property takes 30 minutes from Te Puke or 35 minutes from Whakatane.
TRACKS : 2 main loop tracks.
South Track - A loop of approx. 15km, which splits into a shorter easier track suitable for more experienced kids (but which still needs to be supervised by an adult). The longer track goes onto Campbell Road and loops back to the airstrip via a water crossing, the depth depends on the weather at the time, and which can be challenging.
North Track – a loop of approx. 25km, These loops may be altered slightly this year and may be updated closer to the ride.
2 kids tracks – A small flat track which is strictly for novices. And a larger kids track with small hills.
